DirectX 10 for windows XP

There is no official version of Microsoft DirectX 10 for windows XP and I searched the web to find any working DirectX 10 for XP but I found that they are all fake except one. I downloaded this program and found that there are many unwanted files come with it and also a song! I deleted them then tried to install the program and it was completed successfully. Then I restarted my computer to view what's the result. It works properly and I tested my computer to view the directx version and I found that it was DirectX 10 and I also test a game to see the change and it was beautiful experience. How to overclock your NVIDIA graphics card

Some of NVIDIA graphics cards can be overclocked to increase it speed and to get a higher performance level. I found a program called " EVGA Precision 1.3.2 " that can overclock nvidia graphics cards and monitor the temprature of it. You can download it here. But note that this will work for GeForce 6,7,8,9 and 280 GTX series only and overclocking increases the GPU temperature and sometimes destroy the hardware so you it on your resposibiltiy and I recommend using a very efficient cooling system before overclocking any hardware.

What will you do if Quick Time asks for a CD to run a normal video file ?

In some cases when you try to open a multimedia file with Quick Time player,it asks you to put a CD into the CD drive to open that file although it is on the hard disk. The quick solution to this problem is to put any CD into the CD Drive, but the real reason for this problem is that you have added a file that was on a CD or DVD  to the favorites menu and for an unknown reason ,the program must check if this file is exist on the CD before opening the file you want open at that moment. So, you should remove the file from the favorites or delete all the favorites by this method: open the folder " Documents and settings " then "All users" then open " Application data " then "Quick Time".
Search for the file " quicktimefavorites.qtr " then delete it. Restart your computer and this problem will completely disappear.

If you have big file or folder which consumes large space of you HDD and you want to upload it to any server ,you will need to use a powerful compression program to decrease its size and I found a perfect one. UHARC v3.06 a very powerful compression program

I tried many programs to see what the best compression program is ,but I found that WinRar isn't the best one. If you try UHARC ,you will find that it has the best compression ratio specially for files and huge games and  its compression of the multimedia files is better than any other program but not very good like other types of files. One of may friends tried to compress a 4 GB game with it and compressed it to 650MB!

Don't play with Firefox 3 !

The latest Firefox 3 isn't compatible with many adds-on that work with the

older versions of Firefox.So, many websites give a way to change the 

browser settings to make the old adds-on work in Firefox 3.This is a 

dangerous process that makes the browser unsafe and opens security ports.

Also, after changing some settings and install the old adds-on, Firefox 3 may

not work and not be able to connect to the internet ,so please wait until the complete version of Firefox 3 is available in the end of this year

and don't play with Firefox 3!
